Brush notes into the selection.
- Stroke across notes to select them.
- Shift adds to the selection, Option takes away — held on a keyboard, or latched on the Options Bar.
- Tap the ruler to select a beat; tap the keys to select a pitch.
- Transpose the selection from the Transpose and Scale palette.
